Describe the goods
Specify the products, the number of parcels or pallets, their dimensions and weight. Include handling requirements and relevant product information. A shared description prevents proposals from relying on different assumptions.
Define locations and dates
Provide exact addresses, the cargo-ready date and the requested delivery date. Separate firm constraints from flexible preferences. Include opening hours, appointments and known access restrictions.
Describe the volume profile
Distinguish a one-off shipment from a recurring flow. For regular requirements, describe frequency, typical shipment size and expected variation. Identify peaks rather than relying on an annual average alone.
Identify the handovers
Name the collection and delivery contacts. Clarify who prepares the goods, who supplies the documents and how instructions will be approved. For international flows, also identify the contacts handling formalities.
