Outsource logistics to support growth.

From requirements to operational launch: structure the tender, select a partner and coordinate the transition.

Assignment stages

As its business grows, a client wants to outsource its logistics. SYCTA helps translate its needs into specifications, manage the RFI and RFP stages, assess providers and organise integration against a shared schedule.

How operations are organised

  1. 01

    Define the requirements

Scoping covers inbound and outbound flows, storage, order fulfilment, demand fluctuations and service requirements. These elements shape the specifications and the future provider’s responsibilities.

  2. 02

    Run the RFI and RFP

The request for information (RFI) identifies providers with relevant capabilities. The request for proposal (RFP) specifies the required operating model and enables offers to be compared against common criteria.

  3. 03

    Assess providers and visit sites

The assessment considers the proposed organisation, available resources, information systems, pricing structure and capacity to support growth. Site visits test proposals against operational reality and clarify outstanding questions.

  4. 04

    Coordinate integration and scheduling

The transition is structured around shared milestones: preparing data and interfaces, defining receiving and fulfilment instructions, organising stock transfer and launching operations. Tracking actions, responsibilities and initial flows supports the handover.

The value of the approach

Support that connects decision-making with operations: documented requirements, providers assessed against a common framework and a coordinated transition. The client has a consistent approach from tender and selection through to logistics launch.
